Some candidates for the LSAT—India™ and other law entrance tests will request and receive extra time on test day because they have a disability. For these candidates, we have created versions of all the PrepTests with additional time added. The time permitted for each section of an Additional Time PrepTest will be 50 minutes, compared to 35 minutes for the regular PrepTest sections.
The preparation products offered are very cost-effective. For candidates who just want to attempt a practise test, one mock practise test is available at no cost. For students who want to do more in-depth studying and take multiple practise tests, our Silver, Gold, and Platinum collections provide access to several PrepTests with a maximum of five attempts each. The high-quality standardised tests offered compare very favourably to the digital preparation packages offered by other entrance test preparation companies. Also, by practising on the LSAC LawPrepSM platform, candidates will get LSAT—India™ test-day experience and become familiar with the digital interface used on test day.
Following are the key differences between LawPrep and the LSAT—India™ test-day experience:
- Unlike the PrepTests on LawPrep, to take the real LSAT—India™, you will need to download a special locked-down browser that we will provide to you.
- Unlike the PrepTests on LawPrep, on test day your webcam will record you and you will be able to see your own image in a corner of the screen.
- While you can navigate freely between sections on the PrepTests (as long as timer has not expired), you will not be able to return to a section once you navigate away from it on the real LSAT—India™.
- Some questions in the PrepTests on LawPrep only have four answer choices, but every question on the real LSAT—India™ will have five answer choices.
You have 35 minutes for each section; the timer cannot be adjusted. It is important to learn to practice under timed conditions to simulate a real test experience. Bear in mind, however, that you do have five attempts for each PrepTest. Also, you may review your test after each attempt and take the time to better understand questions you may have missed or skipped when taking the PrepTest initially.
Some candidates for the LSAT—India™ will request and receive extra time on test day because they have a disability. For these candidates, we have created versions of all the PrepTests with additional time added. The time permitted for each section of an Additional Time PrepTest is 50 minutes, as compared to 35 minutes for the regular PrepTest sections.
LSAC LawPrepsm is a powerful tool that helps candidates develop critical-thinking and reading skills. These skills help law students in understanding, analysing, and identifying important facts, arguments, and/or reasoning in any topic. We believe that LSAC LawPrepsm is not just about the test practise but helps learners develop important skills for their legal education and career ahead. Refer to the LSAC LawPrepsm page for more information.
